This cup was made using the coil technique of stacking and blending coils together.

G E R O N I M O: My name is Gabrielle Geronimo and I'm currently a senior at Mercy High School in Burlingame. I decided to take ceramics 1 because it has always been something I've been interested in learning. After taking two years of art (painting, drawing, etc.) at Mercy I thought it would be fun to try something else in the Visual Arts department. At the beginning of the year I thought that ceramics would be an easy class where I would just be able to sit back and relax. Now that the year is coming to an end, I have learned that although this is a fun and relaxing class, it still challenges me everyday to think of creative ways to transform each project and make it my own. In the future I hope to continue practicing and refining my ceramics skills to become a better ceramicist.
